In direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic the UCCAN workforce development program was able to leverage current organization stakeholders to better serve our communities. On a secured online platform through a partnership with Pipeline AZ and many other stakeholders, this online delivery system has been revolutionizing during this social isolation time. We also have developed an online platform to deliver UCCAN workforce development webinars in industry specific cohorts that line up with CTE and industry pipeline pathways with  (WIOA approved) Technical Colleges, Maricopa Community Colleges and the local major Universities. 


Our Pandemic Response Online program through a partnership with the Arizona Department of Economic Security SNAE&T program we are able to connect cash funds to SNAP participants who desire to go to work ages 16 and higher which allows our two generation approach to our array of workforce development programs. 


Our community’s has a vast need for an array of needs in the areas of drug and crime prevention/intervention, education, workforce development based on current trends. UCCAN! has been established to provide strong mentoring for individuals in Utah, Colorado, California, Arizona & Nevada.


 The UCCAN workforce development program in partnership with an array of workforce development organizations and have come to together to create an online platform to bridge the gap during the COVID-19 isolation period for job seekers. The online platform will be driven through a partnership with St. Joseph’s The Worker and Pipeline Arizona plus many other partners.

 We identify the post-secondary educational institutions where relevant online training is conducted, and we synchronize their efforts to create specific career training pathways

We will expose students to online employment opportunities, generate Interest through ongoing webinars.


 Through partners we provide wrap around support services as needed to the participant and their family to ensure program participation is successful in all areas of competencies.


 Through our integrated care approach through our partners we continue to provide wraparound services to ensure a smooth transition into any industry. 


The UCCAN program works on the premise that an industry or organization can participate in developing individuals into viable employment candidates. Our development process is simple: 


 Assist with the overall increase in participation in CTE, College & Career readiness programs among underrepresented populations.

A major initiative set forth by Governor Ducey’s in partnership with ARIZONA@WORK and the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) makes the Arizona Career Readiness Credential available to those entering or re-entering the workforce across the state.
