Celebration for Resilience 2022

Thursday, November 17, 2022 (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM) (MST)

Description

Extreme heat, homelessness, drought — we face so many urgent challenges in Arizona, it’s easy to get caught up putting out fires rather than preventing them in the first place. How do we shift our efforts further upstream to uncover and address the source of our problems?

Join ASU’s Knowledge Exchange for Resilience November 17 at the historic Orpheum Theater to hear from bestselling author Dan Heath on the forces that push us downstream, as well as the levers we can use to start preventing problems. The first 300 guests to arrive will receive a free copy of his book Upstream: The Quest to Solve Problems Before They Happen.

This evening of inspiration and celebration will also feature the annual Resilience Prize ceremony, which recognizes a deserving group or organization for its systemic efforts to improve community resilience and build prosperity in Arizona.
