Virtual business roundtable, organized by experts from the Mexican Government and the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB).

The objective is to link Mexican exporters, from the agroindustry sector, with potential importers/buyers in the U.S. The buyers will be able to connect directly with Mexican producers to buy plenty of food and beverages products of the best quality.

Organizers and partners: Mexican Ministry of Economy in collaboration with the IADB, ConnectAmericas, and with strategic support of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Date: July 27th to 31st 2020.

Objective: To link Mexican exporter companies with buyers from Canada and USA, in the context of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) entry into force on July 1st.

Sectors: Food and Beverages.

Main participant Sub-sectors: Bakery Assortments, Dips & Spreads, Candy & Chocolate, Legumes (Fresh, Frozen, Canned, Jarred, Dried, Pulp, Powder), Coffee & Cacao, Condiments, Sauces & Marinades, Seasonings & Spices, Non Alcoholic beverages, Wine & spirits, Meat and Seafood, Fruits (Fresh, Frozen, Canned, Jarred, Dried, Pulp, Powder), Vegetables (Fresh, Frozen, Canned, Jarred, Dried, Pulp, Powder)

Cost: Free event.

Requirements: Those importer companies that wish to postulate their participation must comply with the following characteristics:

  • To be a legally registered company from the United States or Canada and a buyer of food and beverages.
  • Experience in importing from Latin America or the Caribbean.
  • Have an active web page.

Registration – June 24th to July 8th 2020.

Meeting Scheduling – June 29th to July 24th 2020.

Business Roundtable – July 27th to July 31st 2020.
