With a remarkable career that includes serving as the 24th Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) during President Obama's administration, Contreras-Sweet has received international acclaim for her achievements in bringing efficiencies and modernization to large-scale organizations. As the head of the SBA, Contreras-Sweet was instrumental in supporting America's 28 million small businesses, which contribute significantly to job creation and employ half of the nation's private-sector workforce. Under her leadership, the SBA achieved record-breaking results in lending, investments, and contracting for small businesses.
