Our Brother's Keeper:
A Conference on Men's Health Exploring the Intersection of Mental Health and Cancer Our Brother's Keeper is sponsored by Mayo Clinic, Arizona State University, the Coalition of Blacks Against Cancer, Dr. Buffey Wooten of Wooten & Associates, and Anthony Gathers of Ageez Barbershop.
The purpose of Our Brother's Keeper is to elevate awareness and foster education among Black, Hispanic, and Native American men concerning their health and examining the unique challenges men face as they navigate various facets of life.
Together, attendees will explore the intersectionality between these challenges, mental health, and prevalent cancers within these communities, with a particular focus on colon, prostate, and liver cancer.
The event will feature an opening session comprising community leaders, followed by breakout sessions and concluding with a discussion to close out this impactful event.
