Last October, the Department of Education announced the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Waiver period that will affect over half a million borrowers. Already, over 38,000 student loan borrowers have received full forgiveness with this expanded eligibility criteria and another 500,000 will receive on average up to two years of additional progress toward total forgiveness.
