Semilla Consulting LLC is a Phoenix-based, Chicana-owned consulting practice specializing in organizational effectiveness, workforce development, and leadership training for corporate, nonprofit, and government clients. Founded by Angela Salazar, a Phoenix native, Semilla partners with institutions across Arizona to build the systems, culture, and leadership pipelines that let organizations grow with intention, not just capacity.

Angela's approach is shaped by lived experience as much as professional expertise. As a Chicana raised in Phoenix, she has spent her career building pathways for the people and communities too often left out of leadership rooms, from architecting employee resource group infrastructure and leadership development systems in higher education, to leading equity programs at YWCA Metropolitan Phoenix, to mentoring the next generation of Latino leaders through organizations like ALPFA Phoenix, the Diversity Leadership Alliance, and Latinas in Tech AZ.

Today, Semilla brings that same builder's mindset to every client engagement: designing and facilitating custom workshops, stepping in as a subcontractor or substitute facilitator when an organization needs extra capacity, and helping teams translate mission-driven work into measurable, defensible outcomes. Recent partners include the City of Phoenix Office of Accountability and Transparency, New Pathways for Youth, and the Greater Phoenix Equality Chamber of Commerce.

Angela also offers speaking opportunities or individual coaching, particularly for women and anyone who knows they want more out of life but isn't yet sure which direction to take it. That work is personal to her: helping people find clarity and momentum the same way she has spent her career helping organizations find theirs.

Semilla, the Spanish word for seed, reflects the philosophy at the center of the practice: real growth starts small, is tended with intention, and is built to last. Rooted in Phoenix and grounded in community, Semilla Consulting is proud to partner with the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
