The Ins and Outs of Certification (WBE & WOSB)

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) along with Women Business Enterprise Council West (WBEC-West) a regional partner believe that diversity promotes innovation, opens doors, and creates partnerships for WBENC women businesses enterprises (WBE) within the USA.  WBEC-West provides support, education, resources, and the tools to offer training that helps the WBENC-Certified BE”s grow their capacity initiatives. 

The “Learning the In’s and Out’s of Certification” webinar will provide attendees with clarification on the WBENC two-part process (committee review and site visit interview) along with a deep dive review of the list of require and mandatory documents.  The attendees will learn the WBENC Standards and Procedures requirements in the area of “ownership, control, management, and independence” for an organization that is owned fifty-one percent (51%) by a woman/women who are US citizens or permanent legal residents. 

Join us for our next Business Bootcamp! Following the presentation, we will have our Member Orientation. If you are a New Member, Current Member, or Future Member come to learn all about the chamber. This is a great one-stop-shop resource to also gain insight into all the different initiatives the chamber is a part of. We also have staff present to answer your particular questions.
