Business Diversity Summit
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED! WE WILL HAVE ONSITE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE STARTING AT 7:30AM.
The Phoenix MBDA Business Center and the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host the 8th Annual Business Diversity Summit.
Each year we recognize companies that contribute to the economic development in Arizona, and spend at least $1 million of business with minority, and women-owned suppliers, by inducting them into the annual Arizona Million Dollar Circle of Excellence (AZ MDCE). The Phoenix MBDA Business Center, and its operator the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (AZHCC), co-founded the collaborative AZ Million Dollar Circle of Excellence (AZ MDCE) in 2012.
This year’s 2019 Business Diversity Summit Breakfast will be held on November 19, 2019, from 7:30 to 10:30am, at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort, 5402 E Lincoln Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85253. The event spotlights the growing contributions of minority-owned businesses in Arizona. Major components include the annual inductions into the Arizona Million Dollar Circle of Excellence and the presentation of the annual Phoenix Minority Business Enterprise Awards. This year a separate Business Matchmaking session will take place following the formal event.
This year, after the Business Diversity Summit, the Phoenix MBDA Business Center, the AZHCC and the Women's Business Enterprise Council - West will host a Strategic Business Matchmaking event. For more information and registration information click here.

Modeled after the globally-recognized Billion Dollar Roundtable, the AZ MDCE recognizes companies leading the way in supplier diversity by spending more than $1 million dollars annually (Tier 1) with Women- and Minority- owned (W/MBEs) vendors in our state. Last year, 33 companies submitted their spend report and were inducted into the 2018 Arizona Million Dollar Circle of Excellence (see attached poster). The goal this year is to recognize and celebrate even more companies at the 2019 Diversity Business Summit.
The Million Dollar Circle of Excellence was created in collaboration with the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce, The American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Arizona, Associated Minority Contractors of America, Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Arizona, Pacific Southwest Supplier Diversity Council, Asian Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Business Enterprise Council-West, and additional community partners.
