Direct Care Workers are general non-medical support services provided for persons who want to remain in their home. Services are provided by supervised Direct Care Workers (DCWs) who receive specialized training. In-home services assist the client in meeting the demands of living comfortably and maintaining a personal residence. This position reports to their assigned Staffing Coordinator/ Field Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Negative TB Test
• Completion of the AHCCCS Training and Testing Program within the first 90 days
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Successful completion of background checks
• Fingerprint clearance card
• Three references

AHCCCS training may not be required if the applicant:

• Passes AHCCCS standardized skills and written tests,
• Is a licensed RN, LPN, or CAN, or
• Is an Assisted Living Facility Caregiver with successful completion of an assisted living facility training program

Preferred

• Speaks a second language
• Spanish Speaking is a plus
• Previous experience with attendant care
• RN, LPN, CNA
